Meeeow! Not only is Gemma sexy and flexible, she is super fun to photograph and dress up. The Cheshire cat themed session was all Gemma’s idea. This session was a litter box full of fun. Well, perhaps litter box is the wrong comparison! A ball of yarn? A jingly bell on a string? A satchel of catnip? You get the idea!

She is a local college student, pole fitness extraordinaire, and great friend. The images were taken in a neighbourhood park on a big ol’ wooden pirate ship jungle gym. Perfect for any kitten looking for a little fun. This afternoon shoot garnered us much attention as children finished their school day and were heading home past the park. Even a lovely old man walking his dog stopped in puzzlement to watch as Gemma hung off the ladder and we laughed and joked while I took her photo.

We got super lucky that day, as the clouds were thick and threatened to rain, but it held off till we finished at the park and were playing on the trampoline; just seeing what kind of images we could create. And who doesn’t enjoy a round of bouncing on a trampoline?

The best kind of session is one where you laugh as much as you take pictures, and this session was that kind!

I even managed to convince Gemma to keep the lashes and make up on until she got to her pole fitness class that evening. I loved hearing about the reactions the next morning. Thanks for the great idea and fun Gemma!

Up coming on the blog soon are a sunset goddess, a newborn session, and an earth goddess in the grass. There are a lot of goddess in this valley!
