Happy Valentines Day to my subscribers, followers, Facebook fans and most importantly my wonderful clients. You make what I do worth every minute of desk, instead of camera, time! I am so lucky to share this special experience with you, and to see your faces light up when you see just how beautiful you are. So again, thank you so much.
I just wanted to reach out and say how much I appreciate you all. My way of sharing the love this Valentines day.
And I wanted to take an opportunity to speak to those people out there who have a negative perception of Valentines Day. I know many feel like it is just for couples or a commercial holiday created by card companies to get us to spend money…and this makes me sad. There are many myths and legends about St. Valentine. If you read some of them he really stands for love in the face of adversity. While Valentines Day is highly regarded as a festivity to do with romantic love, we can take it further and use it as a day to show the world we care. Why not change those negative feelings into something positive. Hold doors open for people, smile and say hello to people today, share a meal with some one who doesn’t have one, help a friend or stranger, volunteer- your options are only limited by your imagination. Let’s make the world a better place, and start right here in our own communities. It only takes one small snowball to start an avalanche.
Have a beautiful day!
