February is wrapping up and we are about to head into March. So how was the first 2 months of 2015 for you? Mine has been pretty productive. I’ve been catching up on my sessions, learning tons of new stuff, and brainstorming some new Bold Gorgeous Fun for you ladies. Speaking of bold gorgeous fun, I had some of my own not so long ago with my friend Courtney over at Undiscovered Photography. I dressed myself up in my newest Pin Up gear and gave my good friends a hand testing out their new lighting set up. It was so much fun. Of course we started out with some glamour poses but very quickly I started throwing out sass and playing with the pin up faces. It was a good time and I even got some great images that will be put onto canvas to be hung up in my bedroom.
To finish off this blog post I’m going to feature a couple of sessions from mid 2014 that have previously not been shared on the blog. The first session was a maternity photo shoot with my friend and beloved return glamour client Coral. I was so excited when I found out Coral was pregnant, and that she was giving me the privilege to photograph her intimate maternity images. We had a ton of fun in the studio that day; we played with moods, lights, clothing and fabrics. I am still in awe of the images we created together that day. We finished off the session with a few images of Coral and her daughter, which were very sweet. I know her partner loved receiving them for Father’s Day.
The second session was more like two on location sessions. There is a lovely old grave yard down the road from where I live and Rachel and I decided to do some alternative glamour images with a fun twist. Together we dressed her up as a cute little pixie and we played with bubbles, a girly pink umbrella and flowers creating images with a child like innocence to them. Then we Changed wigs, added layers to the make up and slide her hands and arms into a luxe pair of black elbow gloves. Instant mood change. My childish playful fairy became a sexy siren. The two outfits created such different moods that I ended up with two sessions worth of images. This was truly an amazing way to spend a sunny afternoon with a fun and gorgeous client.
